A free music festival featuring artists from S’pore will take place at * Scape


SINGAPORE – A free music festival, urban sonic, featuring 16 local musicians such as Benjamin Kheng and Linying, will take place at * Scape The Ground Theater for two weekends in January.

The shows, scheduled for Jan. 7-9 and Jan. 14-16, will have a live audience who will need to pre-register for free tickets.

Kheng, who is also a member of the pop quartet The Sam Willows, were one of the top five local bands on Spotify streaming music in 2021. Independent singer Linying was among the artists who wrote and sang the theme of the parade. of this year’s national holiday, The way to go.

The festival, hosted by IMC Live Global, is the entertainment company’s premier event live at the 10,000 square foot Scape The Ground Theater, one of the largest indoor venues in the Orchard Road area. From January 1, IMC will manage and organize shows on the site.

The company also manages and organizes live concerts at the Capitol Theater in Stamford Road over the past year.
