Doja Cat Says She’s Quitting Music Following Backlash From Paraguayan Fans | Entertainment

Doja Cat claimed she was “giving up” on music after a backlash from her Paraguayan fans.

The “Woman” singer went on a rant and apologized for not putting on a “good enough show” in Brazil, before changing her Twitter name to “I quit.”

According to screenshots of since-deleted posts that were posted by fans on the microblogging site, Doja fired back after fans complained that she stayed outside in the rain to meet the “Say So” after his show in Paraguay was canceled due to a storm, only for the rapper to not appear.

In response to the claims, Doja wrote, “This shit ain’t for me so I’m out. Be careful.”

Deleted messages include: “There was a storm in Paraguay, the show was cancelled. When I left the next morning, there was not a single person outside the hotel waiting for me Let it sink in… I regret that I spent all the time when I got ready that day for the show, I broke my ass every day to set you up, but God bless you .(sic)”

Responding to fans in another deleted post, Doja said “the music is dead” and asked to be unfollowed.

She fumed, “It’s gone and I don’t give a fuck anymore.

“I quit, I can’t wait to fade away and I don’t need you to believe in me anymore. Everything is dead to me, music is dead, and I’m a fool for ever thinking I was done for this is a nightmare. Unsubscribe from me.”

She later added: “I don’t think I gave Brazil a good enough show tonight and I’m sorry about that but thank you guys for coming, I love you f****** and thank God, we have another show tomorrow I promise I’ll do better. (sic)”
